White Balance
By now you’ve probably pressed or played with all the little buttons on your camera.. maybe not?
Lets talk bout white balance.
White balance is something I don’t use that often but its still something we need to know about. Ever shot indoors and the photo comes out a bit off color because of the light source like one of those oldschool light bulbs. Not the energy saving ones.
The old-school light bulbs tend to give off this sort of yellowish light, sometimes its great for mood and atmosphere in the picture but it can also be a problem when you don’t want it.
Play with the white balance, set it to tungsten(thats what i do) to get rid of the yellowish color.
White balance can probably be explained in a much longer article than this one because there are alot of different white balance settings, from cloudy to daylight settings. Play with it when you see the scene matches one of the settings.
What it does is basically handles the color correction of the scene or if your whites are not appearing as white as they should.
Go now my little ones, practice makes perfect.
